crazeecookie's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~*I'm BAAAACK!!*~ Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been…away. I got my report card and all that jazz. Of course I’m pissed. My final GPA was 3.59. I’m so blown! Especially because now I have a C on my transcript. WTF is that? Then on top of that I got a 1540 on my SAT out of 2400. I know it’s good but my current GPA plus my SAT score does not equal Brown University and I really want to go Ivy League. So I guess I’ll probably end up going to my second school, Howard. I’m still applying to Brown early admissions, so you guys please pray for me. Because I need to get out of the DC/PG County area and start seeing what this country has to offer me. Saturday I went to the bank where I opened my first account when I was seven [WOWZERS! That is almost ten years ago!] and opened a checking account because I want a check card and I had to get the money for driving school. For my other bank, I have a debit card but I do not have the Visa logo so I cannot use it everywhere. So I got that out the way and went to work from 12-4 and worked out for like half and hour. I was mostly on the phone calling places inquiring about my applications. Sunday was Father’s Day. We were supposed to go out to eat but my mother didn’t wake anybody up and it was 9:30 when I woke up and there was not enough time for everyone to shower and then go to the place and eat before 12 so we didn’t. My mother and I ran errands and then I went to work. I worked out for the first ninety minutes. I did not realize that I still had my stamina because when I went home I was not tired or sore. But after that I ate and then I fell asleep until like 2:45 and then I started cleaning up. I was done everything by 3:30 so I worked out the last half hour. Fun times alone in the gym. I started driving school today. Good times! A lot of fun people there and Maame (Class of ’05) is in my class so at least I knew one person. The downer is we have tests everyday. Well I got 100 today so I was kind of boosted. The other downer is that there is like thirty people in that class and I probably won’t get my 6 hours till late July, August or early September. I’m blown at that but who knows, I might get my hours sooner. At least I’m getting driving school out of the way. Still on the grind looking for that second job. Hopefully Food Lion will pull through because I need money ASAP! ::sigh:: My goals for this summer are starting to look unreachable.
